COACH WILL BOGGS

  • Experience

He has over 35 years of playing and coaching experience, starting in 1987 when he played for Armijo High School in California as an outfielder, pitcher, and third baseman for three years on the varsity team.

He then moved on to Contra Costa Community College, where he played for Larry Quirico (Head Coach) and Marvin Webb (Hitting Coach).

During his two years there, he learned how to hit harder and throw faster, eventually reaching a fastball speed of 90 mph, which earned him a two-year athletic scholarship to Cal State University Hayward.

In his junior year, he was clocked throwing 94 mph by the Texas Rangers.

  • Training Philosophy

His playing career ended shortly due to an injury to his shoulder.

While studying Kinesiology at Cal State University of Hayward, he realized that inadequate instruction and incorrect movement patterns had contributed to his injury.

He then created his first training program to teach proper movement patterns for pitchers and hitters.

Since then, he has trained numerous players, coaches, and teams in Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester Counties.
